I had my kids at 39 and 41. Knowing their kids has been top of mind since the minute they were born because my mom also had me at 39. My kids get to know her now, but she will not get to know them as adults.

I’ve been so grateful for who I can be for my kids now, but I hadn’t yet contemplated trading time with my someday grandkids for what I did in my 20s — which without question I would.

Thanks for this deep rabbit hole of contemplation…
