That's right. Our bodies have wicked good memories, and it really helps me to normalize this. Of course my body would suddently feel like it needs a beer when I sit down to shuck corn with my 4 year old - because that what my body knows. In my family shucking corn was an activity we did with beer.
I just find it so soothing to normalize that. It doesn't mean something bad is going to happen. It just means memories live in our bodies, and we can trust our prefrontal cortex to know the difference between a memory and whats happening now.
